In 1995 Ozmates Travel Pty Ltd was formed to take people with an intellectual disability on holidays. In 2006 the company broadened its holidays to include people with an acquired brain injury and now, Ozmates Travel can cater for anyone that requires support whilst on holidays.
We organise holidays to both Australian and international destinations with the appropriate facilities to cater for the group or individual traveller.
Group tours can vary in size from 4-40 passengers depending on the time of year and destination and tailor made holidays can be for 1 person or a group situation.
Ozmates Travel is the market leader in supported holidays and is best known for its varied and exciting holidays and also for its ability to provide qualified and caring personnel to organise and assist you while on holidays. Domestically the company employs about 50 Staff qualified as either Travel Agents or Disability/Aged Care professionals as well as other relevant qualifications and experience. As such, passengers can be assured that they will receive a high level of customer service and enjoy high quality holidays.
The company provides a complete travel service and offers its passengers group holidays and individual holidays with staffing ratios from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on level of care required. Ozmates Travel recognises that passengers will have different needs so our trained staff are on hand to help assist in the administration of medication, budgeting off monies, ensuring personal care is monitored and assistance given here necessary and of course, making sure that passengers are having fun!
